British comedian Jimmy Carr visited Joe Rogan for another episode of the JRE. Carr touched on classic Rogan talking points including 1) eliminating pharmaceutical advertising in the USA noting that only the USA and New Zealand allow the practice, 2) cold plunges and the subsequent discipline and mental boost they engender in practicioners, and 3) the alleged predatory nature of student loans and the inability to declare bankruptcy from them.
Jimmy expresses his admiration for the US Constitution and cites it as the “greatest technology” America has produced. Joe likens the document to an operating system. Jimmy maintained an attitude of admiration and appeared to pay tribute to Rogan’s podcasting greatness early in the episode.
Rogan was sure to mention the humor in a bit Carr did early in the episode. The pair discussed low literacy rates in the Middle Ages, Martin Luther’s Protestant Revolution, and the ultimate individual agency literate believers can have directly with the Bible and their God after they learn to read the Bible. They mention the old Aramaic and Latin versions of the Bible.
