Erik begins this episode with his usual scatting entrance and goes on to describe situations Matt Rife has faced with some “stalkers”. Griffin describes how he usually “hearts back” message on Instagram in order to give a response that is not too time consuming to most of the DMs he receives on the app. He also describes a scam in which someone will DM him on Instagram, claim to have been dating Matt Rife for six months, and then ask for $10,000 presumably to give to Matt for some supposed surgery Matt is going to have and needs funding for.
Erik goes on to describe his trip to Las Vegas with Rife to film Matt’s new stand up comedy special. Erik gets put in a “riff-raff” room while Rife is upgraded to the uber-luxury suite. Unfortunately there is much construction noise in the hotel during their stay. Erik described the noise as a literal jack hammer going in the room next door.
