6-4-25 – Joe Rogan Experience #2332 – Oz Pearlman

Joe hosts “mentalist” Oz Pearlman on the show and engages in an intriguing episode. Oz claims to be able to guess Rogan’s bank PIN and appears to successfully do so live on the show. I don’t know if Rogan just played along or if Oz was able to hypnotize/suggest Rogan into agreeing that he had indeed guessed the PIN. Very funny little segment.

Pearlman apparently knew David Goggins before Goggins ascended to national internet fame. They trained for ultramarathons together when they both resided in New York City. Pearlman shares that his record marathon time is around 2 hours and 20 mintues which is truly an excellent result. Rogan is impressed.

Pearlman also recounts his background in information technology on Wall Street and shares that he earned a degree in electrical engineering previously before working on The Street in the early 2000s. He wanted more out of life and decided to start trail running early in his life.

Oz insightfully described stand-up comedy as a “pure” artform with just the stage, the mic, and the stand up to entertain a crowd. His “mentalist” performance is adjacent in its sparse accessories employed to deliver an engaging experience for audiences.
